The story of US can’t be told without first mentioning our friendship. The Glit was created due to an open and honest discussion between two friends—one with a Journalism background (Chaya Wilkins) and the other with a PR background (Victoria Odu).  We knew that if we created something that united or talents and our visions—we could pave or own path—the way we want to.  The backbone of our site is Journalism and PR with a focus on entertainment and fashion.

The goal of The Blog is to promote and advocate for artists that are on the rise—those who are just beginning to make their mark in their respective industry. We saw other blog sites that only featured celebs—and although we do have celeb/entertainment news on The Glit—that’s not all we’re about. We’re all about the inspired and the aspiring!

The Glit PR

The Glit Public Relations is boutique entertainment, fashion and lifestyle PR agency. We generally deal with emerging entertainers/artists in various fields, including musicians, actors/actresses, athletes, culinary artist, and other creative individuals. With locations in New York and the Washington DC area, The Glit PR sculpts and nurtures clients’ goals and objectives, generates media attention, plans events, implements creative marketing strategies and provides many other public relations services.

The Glit Public Relation’s PR specialist work effectively daily to ensure proper communication between the public and our clients. We also work diligently to assure that all of our clients’ needs are met. The Glit PR is young, fresh, innovative, professional and intelligent. We get it done!
