The Simmons Sisters & Reid Bro's Being Interviewed
A Bit of the New Voices Tour Background
Just in case you have been out of the loop on one of the biggest /latest movements to keep music alive, let me enlighten you. Back in June the music industry’s generation next, Vanessa & Angela Simmons along with Antonio Jr. & Aaron Reid, launched what could possibly be the most promising resolution to bring back music’s authenticity…The New Voices Tour!
While it would have been more than simple to sit back and enjoy the compliments of being heirs to their families’ empires, this tenacious group of moguls in the making decided that they wanted more than simply being known as the sons and daughters of greats. For the Simmons sisters, this will mark the third lone venture, having already tapped into reality TV (Daddy’s Little Girls…spinoff of Run’s House) as well as fashion (Their very own shoe/clothing/lifestyle brand “Pastry”…look out for their new line “Box Of Chocolates” coming soon). As for the Reid bro’s, it was only a matter of time before they walked down the path of their father’s footsteps. Together they have been on the move to continue their families’ legacy with the New Voices Tour, and by the looks of things…so far, so good.

Other Projects From A.I. Love You: "Sincerely Yours" Downlaod Now!
(Washington, DC) –January 27, 2010 – Producer and songwriter Kyonté, recognized for his Grammy Nominated work with Raheem DeVaughn and Ledisi, steps from behind the writer’s table to release his debut album “831 Vol. 1: What’s That Sound” on February 23, 2010.
“831 Vol. 1: What’s That Sound” depicts music diversity at its best. This album is a “must have” that reflects Kyontés songwriting ability to transcend life and love into the perfect musical melodies which speak to the soul. When you ask Kyonté the true meaning of “831 Vol. 1: What’s That Sound,” he says “Eight Letters. Three Words. One Meaning. A love that is reflective of body language, a passion that not only reflects the love of a person or a thing, but a zest for living and experiencing life.”
Following in the footsteps of a host of his favorite musicians, “831 Vol 1: What’s That Sound”, is the quintessence of listening pleasure, a musical compilation of life and love that brings the element of timeless music that reminds you of an eclectic blend of legends Prince, Luther Vandrosss, and Donny Hathaway, all rolled into one. The album’s lead single “Body Shop” shows Kyontés musical versatility with an up-tempo club banger about inviting an already perfect woman to his life or “shop” for display. “Tonite”, the album’s second single, keeps the production simple with a smooth underlying strum of piano keys similar to Alicia Keys. The romantic interlude, accompanied by the guitar and smooth romantic lyrics, serve as the perfect complement to Kyontés already strong vocal ability.
Having worked alongside many talented artists across the genres of R&B and gospel, Kyonté is sure to make his mark as a solo artist. A native of Washington, DC, Kyontés hometown has already recognized him as both the 2009 Entertainer of the Year as well as the 2009 Artist Most Likely to Succeed. His over 15 years of live performance experience and classically trained vocals ensure a stage presence unlike any you’ve seen in a long time.
